Why Sometimes We Need Negative People, Doubters and Critics in our Lives

A week ago, I told you the importance of being with the right people.  But sometimes we can’t help it, there are people who are negative, critics and people who are just too difficult to handle.

They may be a person who walked away, a friend who betrayed you, a colleague who’s trying to make you look bad. You may not like it, but you couldn’t reach your purpose without them. It’s all part of God’s plan to get you where you’re supposed to be.

David will only be known as a shepherd boy if it wasn’t for Goliath. Without Goliath, David would never be taken to the throne. So, don’t complain about your enemies, it may look like a setback but really, it’s a set up for God to get you to your throne.

God doesn’t always have to use your friends he can also use your enemies, your critics, the ones who’s trying to push you down. He can use them to push you up.

There are Goliaths that are meant to cross your path. And if you don’t understand this principle and you get discouraged, then you will stop. You need to understand that, that opposition doesn’t meant to stop you, it was meant to establish you. When you overcome it, be ready to step into a new level of your life.

In one sense, God uses Judas more than He use other disciples. Judas was ordained to betray Jesus. That was his purpose, to try to stop Him. And it was not just his idea, it was the plan of God. At that time it seemed like a bad thing, but if he have not betrayed Jesus there wouldn’t be a crucifixion. Without the cross there will be no resurrection. Without the resurrection there will be no redemption, no salvation.

Don’t complain about the person that betrayed you. If they walk away, they didn’t set you back, they set you up for the fullness of your purpose and your destiny. Too often we fight against everything that doesn’t go  our way,  we get upset. But, the longer I live the more I realized nothing happens by accident. Even the opposition, if you keep the right attitude, they will use it to your advantage.

Our garden hose nozzle needed replacement, and we haven’t gotten around buying a new one.  Right now, when I water the plans, in order for me to reach the farthest side of the plants, I need to use my finger.  I restrict the water coming out of the hose, so what happens is, as the water is restricted, the water shoot out to the farthest side of the garden, reaching the plants there.

Same with your lives, when you feel restricted, when you face opposition don’t be discouraged, get ready to shoot out. Get ready for a new level.  That pressure is not going to stop you, it is going to increase you.  But always keep the right attitude, that is the key to make things happen.  Don’t react negatively by getting even, reap all the lessons you can possibly get and use them to go forward with your life.

Have an amazing purpose driven life,
